Lobbyist Termination
All lobbyist registrations are permanent until the lobbyist terminates for each association for which the lobbyist is registered.

A Self-reporting lobbyist terminates by filing a Lobbyist Disbursement Report and Lobbyist Termination Statement. The report covers the period from the last report through the date of termination.

An Authorizing lobbyist terminates by filing a Lobbyist Termination Statement and notifying the reporting lobbyist of all disbursements made during the period from the last report filed through the date of termination.

A Reporting lobbyist terminates by filing a Lobbyist Disbursement Report and Lobbyist Termination Statement. The report covers the period from the last report through the date of termination. Upon termination of a Reporting lobbyist, the reporting of disbursements reverts back to each of the lobbyists on whose behalf the reporting lobbyist was reporting.

If a Designated lobbyist ceases lobbying for a particular entity, the entity must assign the responsibility to report the entity's lobbyist disbursements to another lobbyist registered for the entity.

If all lobbyists for a particular entity terminate within a calendar year, the entity must file the Annual Report of Lobbyist Principal by March 15th of the next year.
